Presentation
Mtre Anne-Marie Coutu, Notary, is an experienced mediator and member of the AMFQ associations. She has been practicing family mediation since 2010. As an accredited family mediator, she is often mandated to practice within the framework of the Family mediation program (Programme Justice Québec) which allows parents to benefit from 5 hours free of charge in mediation.
Mtre Anne-Marie Coutu is an impartial mediator who strives to establish a trust-based relationship with her clients and invites them to openly express themselves in a safe and serene atmosphere. Each party’s interests and needs are considered in the settlement process. Also, communication and respect are important factors fostered by the mediator that lead, most of the time, to a satisfying agreement.
Finally, it is possible for the mediator to go to the Superior Court if the parties wish to make a joint application for divorce, ratify their draft agreement or even review any other accessory measures such as child support and custody.
For any other question about the mediation process, do not hesitate to contact us, it will be our pleasure to give you more information.
